Biography

Abdelillah is a biomedical engineer reading for an MSc at Near East University, due to finish in 2027. He took his bachelor's in biomedical engineering at the same university in 2025.

He works as a lab assistant at Near East University alongside his studies, running lab operations, supporting research, and applying engineering principles to healthcare projects. The two roles feed each other: what he reads about in the morning he often has to make work on a bench in the afternoon.

His work sits where healthcare, engineering, and newer technology meet. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, medical imaging, ultrasound, and telemedicine are the areas he keeps returning to, largely for what they can do for diagnostic accuracy and for patients who live a long way from a good hospital.

Outside biomedical engineering he follows aviation, aerospace, and materials science, which tends to show up in how he approaches a problem. The thread through all of it is closing the distance between medicine and intelligent systems.
